In the middle of difficult economic conditions and many social problems in Indonesia, we want to say one important thing: thank you.
Because of your support, Harapan Fian has received donations totaling IDR 47,424,782 through fundraising on GoFundMe and Kitabisa. Most of these donations came from Indonesian diaspora communities living abroad, together with local donors in Indonesia who continue to believe in our work.
For us, this support is not only about money. It is also a sign that people still care about women and children living in street situations — communities that often receive very little attention. Your solidarity reminds us that this issue matters and that these families are not alone.
During the past months, Harapan Fian has been facing many changes. On May 6, 2026, we decided not to continue renting our current secretariat house. This was not an easy decision, but we need to adjust to our financial situation. Right now, we are looking for a new and more affordable house in the same area, Kampung Badran. We hope to find a place that can still support our activities: a meeting space, one counseling room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
Even with these changes, our work continues.
Our team remains the same: Didin, Iyah, and Rani. With a small team, we continue to accompany community members in accessing identity documents, healthcare services, and education for children and families in vulnerable situations.
Our Saturday Class program for children is also still running. For now, the activities have moved to the community hall (Balai Warga). We are happy and grateful because local residents continue to support the program. Mothers from the PKK community even help by preparing food for the children during activities. This support gives warmth and energy to the children and to all of us.
Every contribution, every shared post, every message of support, and every donation has helped Harapan Fian continue walking beside communities in street situations.
Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for growing hope together with us.
