Luna was born and raised in Boyolali, a small town in Central Java. She lived a simple life with her parents and siblings. However, as she grew older, Luna realized that she wanted more from life than what her hometown could offer her.
So, she decided to move to Jogja in search of a better life. Luna was excited about her new adventure, but little did she know that her life was about to become even more challenging.
As a female worker in Jogja, Luna faced many cases of violence. She was mistreated, harassed, and discriminated against simply because of her gender. But Luna was not one to give up easily. Her experiences made her stronger, and she refused to let anyone bring her down.
Luna also had a deep social concern for fellow women. She could not stand the thought of other women suffering the same way she did. So, she decided to take action. In 2018, Luna became one of the founders of Harapan Fian, an organization that provides support for women in street situation.
Despite being a single mother with two children, Luna managed to balance her responsibilities as a mother and her involvement in social activities. She worked hard to raise her children while also being actively involved in Harapan Fian. At Harapan Fian, Luna continued her high school studies and graduated with flying colors.
Luna’s determination and hard work did not stop there. She went on to pursue her studies in law while still working as a domestic worker. Luna also found her passion for sewing and involve in membaur project as a tailor, which allowed her to express her creativity while also earning some extra income.
Luna’s journey was not easy, but she proved that with perseverance, anything is possible. Her experiences taught her valuable lessons about life and helped her become the strong, caring, and compassionate woman she is today. Luna continues to be an inspiration to other women who face similar struggles, and her dedication to making a positive impact in her community is truly admirable.
